Owners, David Johnson and Jon Sargent have been friends for more than 20 years. David is a restaurateur and Jon is a builder specializing in historic home remodels. They often talked of collaborating on something together but living in different cities limited the possibilities. However , when Dave's family moved to moved to Bend where Jon and his family were living, it seemed the time was right. The result of their long awaited collaboration is Versante Pizza- a vintage style restaurant that serves extraordinary food.
The pizza sauce and pasta sauce were slowly created over time by the owner David Johnson, which he actually created in his Cannon Beach Fultano's Pizzeria back in 2003.Versante Pizza uses the best tomatoes on the market, angus beef and is extremely fussy and exact about the kind of italian sausage used. Infact, it's many of these ingredients which make up this famous pasta sauce.
Versante Pizza is known for their friendly staff and is perfect for either families or romancing couples. Outdoor seating as well as delivery is possible. Come check out Bend's popular restaurant loved by our locals.
