Until you can get to our office, ice packs placed on and off the area at 20-minute intervals can provide some relief from the pain
Knocked-Out Tooth
Prompt action on your part will significantly improve the odds of saving a tooth that has been knocked out. Avoid touching the root of the tooth. Hold the crown of the tooth very carefully and rinse gently in water. Do not brush or scrub the tooth because this will disturb attached tissue fragments. You can try to gently place the tooth back in its socket, but do not force it. If this is not possible, do not allow the tooth to dry out - place it in a cup of milk or warm water until you get to our office
