Class Descriptions
Foundations Classes
Our Foundations classes will emphasize the building blocks of our practice.
The class is for practitioners that wish to deepen their understanding of the poses. Each Foundations class will have an assistant partnering with the instructor to deepen each client's experience.
The assistants will show the practitioners the possibility of each pose; they are not correcting the pose.
There is no wrong pose, there is just freedom to experience your own practice. Foundations classes are for new yogis and for experienced yogis. All are welcome to these classes.
All Level Classes
Our All-Levels classes are for new or experienced yogis.
The class will be led by an instructor who will keep the flow of the class moving. There will be cues for alignment and a sequence to the class, but there will be less of an emphasis on building blocks than our Foundations classes.
The emphasis will be on the flow and facilitating an invigorating experience so you can explore your boundaries.
Everyone can feel confident entering an All-Levels class, because practitioners can modify each pose for their level. All are welcome to these classes.
Power Vinyasa Yoga
Yoga is a 5000 year-old practice.
Power Vinyasa Yoga is one type of yoga practice which involves movement and breathing. Vinyasa actually means "breath-synchronized movement" and the series of poses create a flow that keeps you moving through the practice. The breath fuels your practice, quiets the mind of chatter, and calms your nervous system. The sweat produced by practicing vinyasa yoga, induces a detox that leaves you feeling energized. At Transform Power Yoga, we enjoy practicing in a heated room of 95 degrees, and an average humidity level of 20%-30%. The heat not only aids your body in the detox of your vital organs and leaves your skin glowing, but it also adds to the suppleness of your muscles and ligaments. Going deeper into a pose is safer for your body in a heated room. This type of yoga practice is perfect for the new practitioner and challenging for the experienced practitioner. The Transform Power Yoga Team is grateful for the opportunity to guide our clients to a vibriant, healthy lifestyle. Namaste
