Meet Jaber Audi
His Story. "I never expected that I would become a therapist. There was an unfortunate time in my life when I suffered a severe back injury. The idea of taking medication was just not an option for me because of all the side effects that would have on me and my body. I chose to pursue more natural treatment therapy options to feel better. My treatment turned out to be so successful that, even though I did have a Psychology degree, I would learn about therapy and develop my skills in that area. It was at that moment that Touch of Japan emerged. The pleasure of helping others feel right has been an incredible journey that I have enjoyed for over 15 years now." Jaber's preventative body maintenance became a necessity for many. He has helped numerous patients experience successful recovery throughout the world. Jaber can help you and invites you to Touch of Japan where you can experience the healing hands of this gentle therapist. Come and get Jabersized today!

When the baby comes to this world if the delivery is complicated unfortunately the baby pays the price. Baby might be autistic, ADD or ADHD. By doing cranio sacral therapy on babies and children we can help release the trauma that happened when they arrived. Also CST can helps adults to release an emotional or physical trauma.
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.
It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he served as professor of biomechanics.
Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams - about the weight of a nickel - practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system.
CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it's effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
Craniosacral Therapy Conditions
Craniosacral therapy is an alternative medicine therapy that addresses multiple conditions such as:
Migraines and Headaches
Chronic Neck and Back Pain
Stress and Tension-Related Disorders
Infant and Childhood Disorders
Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries
Central Nervous System Disorders
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
And Many Other Conditions
How CranioSacral Therapy Works
Few structures have as much influence over the body's ability to function properly as the brain and spinal cord that make up the central nervous system.
And, the central nervous system is heavily influenced by the craniosacral system - the membranes and fluid that surround, protect and nourish the brain and spinal cord.
Every day your body endures stresses and strains that it must work to compensate for.
Unfortunately, these changes often cause body tissues to tighten and distort the craniosacral system. These distortions can then cause tension to form around the brain and spinal cord resulting in restrictions. This can create a barrier to the healthy performance of the central nervous system, and potentially every other system it interacts with.
Fortunately, such restrictions can be detected and corrected using simple methods of touch.
With a light touch, the CST practitioner uses his or her hands to evaluate the craniosacral system by gently feeling various locations of the body to test for the ease of motion and rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid pulsing around the brain and spinal cord. Soft-touch techniques are then used to release restrictions in any tissues influencing the craniosacral system.
By normalizing the environment around the brain and spinal cord and enhancing the body's ability to self-correct
CranioSacral Therapy is able to alleviate a wide variety of dysfunctions, from chronic pain and sports injuries to stroke and neurological impairment.
There are certain situations where application of CST would not be recommended.
These include conditions where a variation and/or slight increase in intracranial pressure would cause instability. Acute aneurysm, cerebral hemorrhage or other preexisting severe bleeding disorders are examples of conditions that could be affected by small intracranial pressure changes.
Muscle Release Technique
Muscle Release Technique SM (MRT)
As a therapeutic massage option, will provide relief to your chronic pain.
When injury occurs, we are often instructed by our primary doctor to see a physical therapist.
This is so you can regain mobility and find relief from the pain incurred from the injury.
In a similar treatment pattern as Thai massage, MRT SM relies upon flexibility as the key toward relief for most chronic pain problems.
In our muscle release therapy sessions, I will work to improve your flexibility in areas where tight muscles have created pain patterns.
This could be forearm and wrist tension associated with carpal tunnel syndrome or lower leg muscular tension that is the principal cause of plantar fasciitis.
Best of all, Muscle Release Technique SM works to relieve pain in just about any area of the body, so problems like
Sciatica, cervical tension, respiratory restriction, whiplash, patella tracking problem, tennis elbow, etc. Become problems that can find resolution.
Utilizing muscle tension release techniques
We will improve your well-being with an active isolated stretch method in conjunction with moderate pressure on the belly of the muscle.
We will also work to retrain your muscle memory.
To achieve complete success, it is imperative that regular, proper stretching (that I will show you) becomes a part of your daily life.
With renewed flexibility, you will feel more alive as circulation is restored to areas previously congested.
In addition, any inflammation is decreased in areas that are treated. If you have tension or pain resulting from chronic use, injury, or seemingly no known cause, most likely you have short, tight muscles that are restricting circulation and causing inflammation.
It may be time to literally "loosen up" and gain control over any nagging pain problems with muscle release therapy.
Lymph Drainage helps the body especially after surgery for lymph nodes to get rid of all the toxins.
Lymph Drainage is part of the royal treatment for preventive body maintenance. Great for a healthy person also. Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is believed by proponents to encourage the natural circulation of the lymph through the body. The lymph system depends on peristalsis and the movement of skeletal muscles to squeeze fluid through lymph ducts and vessels.
Our bodies have 660 pressure points in our bodies.
By pressing these pressure points we help the body to heal itself. In acupressure physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points by the hand, elbow, or with various devices.
Reflexology is based on the principal that there are reflexes in the hands and feet that relate to every organ, gland, and system of the body. The nerve endings of all the interior organs the heart, the stomach the kidney and liver are found on the feet, hands and ears. By working on these 3 areas we can help all the interior organs to function better.
The Japanese shiatsu massage is a way of relaxation, but in its main theory shiatsu it is a holistic bodywork. Shiatsu massage uses acupressure techniques which is applied with hands, thumbs, elbows and knees. Shiatsu, one of the acupressure techniques, has its roots from the acupuncture therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The difference between acupuncture and acupressure is that in the first case the practitioner uses very thin needles but in the case of acupressure the therapist uses deep tissue pressure on the twelve body meridians. Shiatsu is two Japanese words SHI means finger and ATSU means pressure. By using pressure points we help the body to heal itself. Shiatsu technique refers to the use of fingers and palm of one's hand to apply pressure to particular sections on the surface of the body for the purpose of correcting the imbalances of the body, and for maintaining and promoting health.
Deep Tissue Massage One form of bodywork is deep tissue massage therapy, and the terms massage and bodywork are often used interchangeably. However, while bodywork includes all forms of massage techniques, it also includes many other types of touch and healing therapies that additionally incorporate vast assessment techniques and tools that may for example, allow a client to benefit their posture and/or aim to enhance their awareness of the 'mind-body connection". Massage is the practice of soft tissue manipulation with physical, functional, and in some cases psychological purposes and goals. Massage therapy can help to relax your stress in many ways. Massage involves acting on and manipulating the body with pressure – structured, unstructured, stationary, or moving – tension, motion, or vibration, done manually or with mechanical aids. Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, or organs of the gastrointestinal system. Massage can be applied with the hands, fingers, elbows, and forearm.
Swedish massage uses five styles of long, flowing strokes to massage. The five basic strokes are effleurage (light touch), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (rhythmic tapping), friction (compression), and vibration. Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in reducing pain, joint stiffness, and improving function in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee over a period of eight weeks. It has also been shown to be helpful in individuals with poor circulation. Research has shown that the benefits of massage include pain relief, reduced trait anxiety and depression, and temporarily reduced blood pressure, heart rate, and state anxiety. Why It's Called Swedish Massage. Swedish massage is based on the Western concepts of anatomy and physiology as opposed to energy work that is more common in Asian-style massage. Both Swedish massage and physical therapy were pioneered by a Swedish physiologist, Per Henrik Ling (1776-1839) at the University of Stockholm. In the early 19th century he developed a system called "Medical Gymnastics" which included movements performed by a therapist. These became the known as "Swedish movements" in Europe and "the Swedish Movement Cure" when they came to the U.S. in 1858. Today it is simply known as Swedish massage Swedish massage is the foundation for other types of Western massage, including sports massage, deep tissue massage and aromatherapy massage.
Aqua massage uses hot wet towels. Heat causes physiological changes within the tissue, such as increased temperature, metabolism, and elasticity of the tissue, and decreased pain, muscle spasm, and joint stiffness. When combined with massage, moist heat towels will produce general relaxation, which helps to reduce muscle spasm and pain as well. Hot towels maximize benefits of the therapy, help the blood circulation, and also feel good. Included with each session.

"Jaber, A fantastic therapist with a big heart, a healthy spirit and the best hands in the business. You relax me!" - anonymous
This was the first professional massage I've ever received and wow, I could not have picked a better place. The staff of this personable spa is very friendly, and as a first-time client I received a guided tour by Jaber himself. There are hairstylists, manicurists, and massage therapists. After the meet and greet, I sat down in a very relaxing rocking chair to hear Jaber's story. I came across Touch of Japan by what I thought was coincidence. I believe now that it was divine guidance. Jaber Audi has blessed hands and is a most loving soul. With gentle warmth and kindness and by using Shiatsu massage, he knows how to ease your worries and stress. Inside and out. Using oils, hot towels, soft music, relaxed lighting, a comfortable massage table, and his magical hands, you are taken to another land. I wish I met Jaber many years ago, but am so happy that he came into my life yesterday. During the massage session (which lasts about 1.5 hrs), I joked that the dictionary must have a picture of his face next to the word "heaven". The whole experience was very blissful. It is apparent to me that his joy and passion for life pours out to his clients, and I believe that he is making the world a better place by sharing true love and compassion with others. If everyone dedicated themselves the way he does, the world would be a very different place. Thank you again, Jaber. You are a blessing. I hope to see you again soon! - anonymous
Phenominal is truly an understatement when experiencing a Touch of Japan massage session with Jaber Audi. There has never been a more extraordinary experience in massage therapy. Jaber Audi is a well educated masseuse and wellness advisor who will spend as much time needed to focus on all the strained areas of an individual body to heal and de-stress any condition. With the use of many techniques like: Reflexology, Lymph Drainage, Acupressure, positive thoughts, massage, jojoba oil, warm wax for arthritic joints to just name a few! With these many techniques one receives added benefit beyond ordinary massage. In entering his office, it is easy for an individual to feel at home and become lost in the world of leisure and rejuvenation. Jaber works intently to rid an individuals "excess baggage" built up throughout the day. He then uses Acupressure to promote "clear thinking/focus" as he diligently works for you without watching the clock! The use of heated moist towels gives Jaber the ability to truly detangle any knot or tense muscle due to stress. After this extraordinary session Jaber provides chilled water and a healthy snack, fee of charge. Once an hour or more has past you not only feel like a new person but have gained a true friend who seeks your well being. Thank you Jaber for all your help!! - anonymous

Relaxing and Rejuvinating massage: I enjoyed my massage session. Jaber Audi was really nice to show me his entire office and explain things in detail (holistic healing). He did a complete massage on my head, arms, hands, legs, feet, back It is totally worth the time, and money. It was really relaxing and I feel rejuvinated afterwards. I even got a healthy snack and bottle water to end the session - anonymous
Great massage therapy, and most of all, very helpful. Jaber's unique long sessions helped me to recover from a pain after an accident in 10 sessions. I don't feel the hip pain any longer. I'm finding it amazing, since it is unusually quick recovery for my body. I do have some experience with accidents. Jaber is a professional and accredited massage therapist, and on top of that he is a nice pleasant person. He did a combination of different techniques on my full body. It's a very relaxing and healing experience - anonymous
