Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support
Flex n' Stretch
This will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity

Michael Fontana
My mission it is to make your body and mind work as one; you have the power to take control of your fitness; my goal is to guide you to that destination. I help individuals and groups of all aspirations and ability levels. I am the way to a new you - take control of your metaphysical state and start training today. It is not just about training, but pursuing your goals and transitioning to a lifestyle of health and wellness. My mission is to take the body on a journey that is mapped out by the client, and we can help you on that path - the path to a lifestyle of health and wellness. Additionally, I have the skills not just to help with the transition to health and wellness through nutrition and life-coaching, but also to take athletes who want to train and compete at a higher level - such as professional strength and conditioning, speed and agility training, bodybuilding and physique training, and athletic conditioning techniques to help all types and levels of athletes and individuals. DeWitte Mandley
I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and HITT Trainer for the military. I received my B.S. in Recreation Administration at North Carolina A&T State University where I played Division 1 basketball for three years. I have experience working with a wide variety of populations through many different fitness domains including strength and conditioning and injury prevention while specializing in Functional Programming, Sport Specific Training, SAQ/Reactive Training, and Stability Enhancement. I have always loved fitness and wellness and the wonderful results people see when engaged in it. Karissa Little
My name is Karissa. I am 23 years old. I am married. I enjoy going to the movies, working out, and my favorite food is pizza! I have been studying health and fitness since I was a teenager. At the age of 18, I was pre diabetic, had high cholesterol, and weighed roughly 250 lbs. When the doctor had advised me of all of these things, I decided to make a change. Over the course of a year, I had lost about 100 lbs and found a love for fitness that could not be replaced. I am currently studying Health and Fitness Education, and am certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine in hopes to help other people like myself find balance and happiness. I am also studying to become certified in corrective exercise, women's fitness, fitness nutrition, weight loss, and behavior change
Tanesha Atwell
Certified Instructor: Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Kids/Kids Jr., Zumba Gold. Tanesha is a California native with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from the University of La Verne. She has worked and trained with elite athletes and dance professionals. Tanesha strives to help individuals achieve their goals and dreams especially when it comes to fitness. Her main focus of health is to strengthen not only the body but also the mind and spirit. She has over 20 years of dance experience and is obtaining the remainder of her pre-requisites for a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Outside of the gym Tanesha loves to travel, paint, go to school and participate in outdoor activities. Along with her passion for dance and bringing happiness to others, Tanesha offers a high energy Zumba party that encompasses a variety of Latin infused music that everyone can enjoy. Janel Graham
Janel Graham started working out ten years ago and was hooked from the start. She loves hiking, weight training, cardio, biking, and yoga, and finds ways to stay active on a daily basis. She started doing yoga about six years ago and found her true passion. Last year she got certified as a Yoga instructor and a Movement Therapist. She uses yoga as therapy for the body and the mind, focusing on linking breath to movement and alignment when instructing. She is excited to work at such a cutting edge facility and looks forward to being a part of the friendly, motivated staff

Hello! My name is Rychelle Geronimo and I am a strong minded, goal oriented, ambitiously inspired individual who strives to strengthen those to believe in a healthy lifestyle sense of living and what an impact it can create on the mind, body, and soul. I am a graduate student from San Diego State University and have also obtained my Personal Training certification from NASM. My motivation for becoming a Personal Trainer is based on the huge amount of passion I have for wanting to make a difference in people's lives both physically and mentally. There is nothing that motivates me more than to see an individual become inspired and empowered to obtain the willingness to want to work towards the best shape they could possibly be in their life. My style of training emphasizes on strength and conditioning in combination with rehabilitation exercises. Hi my name is Joseph Rego, and I am honored to be one of the Group Class Instructors at the beautiful new Total Fitness training facility in 29 Palms, CA. I am a Certified Personal Trainer for one on one personal training, or small group training. However I am equally, if not more passionate about group class exercise.There is something extraordinary that happens when you mix people, music, determination, and fun. I love teaching, and encourage others to teach as well. I am a Certified Turbo Kick Boxing Instructor, and Zumba Instructor. I teach Step Aerobics, Cardio Dance Sculpt & Tone, Boot Camp, I have taught Yoga and Boxing (training only) not combative. I am a group class junkie. My mantra is commitment, plus determination, plus hard work equals success. You bring that to my table, I will bring the motivation, and together we will reach your goals. I sincerely want all our guests at Total Fitness to find their training niche, and make that niche a lifetime dedication. Our facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment and a cardio area including a TRX suspension and a group aerobic room. Spin, yoga, and Zumba classes are included at no additional charge to members.
