The biggest difference in the restaurants atmosphere is a lounge area near the bar, where a sofa, chairs and small tables have been set up, with a large HDTV above the fireplace and a smaller one near the bar. The dining room walls are now a shade of yellow; some bigger tables for 10 to 12 people have been added, and a private room can be used for parties of about 20. Behind the scenes, the kitchen has undergone a major upgrade, and the bar has new sinks, coolers and fixtures. The chef will still dish up favorites like homemade gnocchi, greens and beans, Italian-style pork chops and fried bologna.
