You are allowed to take a small back pack or fanny pack, cameras, or phones on the course – however we are not responsible if you drop or lose your personal items. We recommend leaving valuable items in your vehicle or designated participant observation areas.
There are observation decks so you are more than welcome to bring individuals that want to watch but not participate.
There are picnic tables to eat lunch if you desire to pack your own food. We do not have a food service, but there are snacks and drinks for purchase.
Reservations
Do you need to make reservations?
Yes, reservations are required. If we can book activities on a walk-in or last minute basis we certainly will; However this solely depends on equipment & staffing availability. Our trips, equipment, and staff are designed around our reservations. We are a small, family owned and operated business; reservations help us out a lot. Also note that if you need to change your plans we do our best to work with you.
Reservation and Cancellation Policies
When you make a reservation
50% non- refundable deposit is required with one exception… If you want to participate only on the via ferrata and you have LESS THAN 10 participants you will not have to put down a deposit. However putting your name and phone # on a list is still required, so please call us to make a reservation, thanks.
All reservations are currently made over the phone.
To make a reservation, we must have a major credit card on file. You may send a check to cover the deposit instead of charging your credit card but we must have a card on file. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express), cashier's check, traveler's checks, and cash. Sorry, personal checks are not accepted.
The deposit is 50% of your expected total. We are capable of working with approximations on group size.
The deposit is non-refundable for any reason. This includes groups that have less than 1/2 of their group show up.
If you cancel prior to the date reserved
we will work with you to reschedule your activities with Torrent Falls Climbing Adventure and the deposit will be transferred to that date, but that date must be within 1 year of original date reserved. Again, it is not refunded.
Your balance is due on your reserved date of arrival.
If you decide to cancel and do not inform Torrent Falls of your cancellation, your credit/debit on file will be charged for the remaining balance due.
If Torrent Falls Climbing Adventure needs to cancel
we reserve the right to decide whether a refund or credit at a pro-rated amount will be issued. We are not responsible for cancellation fees from a change or cancellation in your flight plans, lodging, or any other accommodations.
Number of Participants
We also understand that your number of participants may fluctuate. As your participation numbers change please give us a call or send us an email to update us. We will work with you to accommodate any changes.

What to Bring
All climbing / rappelling gear is provided. Please note that you will be required to wear a climbing helmet. One may bring their own equipment as long as it is approved climbing equipment. This however does not provide a discount.
Clothing
Clothing that is comfortable to climb in. Long pants are recommended. Shorts can be worn; however it is easy to scratch knees. If it is going to be cold, dress in layers, you can become hot while climbing. If it is going to rain, bring a rain jacket.
Closed-toed shoes
Tennis shoes or hiking boots work best. No flip-flops.
Waivers
Every person that participates in our activities needs a waiver.
Adults
An adult is considered 18 years of age or older. For the Via Ferrata an adult is needed to participate with youth ages 10-14 in a 1:5 ratio of adult to youth. For guided rock climbing, an adult is required to be present for youth ages 14 and under. The adult may not have to participate but may be required wear a harness and helmet to aid the guide with rope set up. An adult doesn't have to pay if not participating, but will be required to sign a waiver.
Water
Water can be taken with you during your climb. You may want to bring a water-bottle holder (such as a Camelbak or fanny-pack).
Food
Food is not provided. We recommend a lunch and a few snacks. There is a Pepsi vending machine (including water) on site.
Camera
Sunscreen
Bug spray
Fingerless Gloves
Fingerless Gloves are recommended but not required for the via ferrata only. A fingerless glove such as a weight lifting or cycling glove works well. If full fingered, make sure the glove fits snugly so the finger tips do not get in the way of working our via ferrata clips. Gloves are not provided but can be purchased on site. If rappelling, you will be provided with gloves. For all other activities, gloves are not recommended.
