Perched on the south edge of Pioneer Park the Tin Angel has easy access to fresh, local ingredients. The Summer Downtown Farmer's Market is right across the street and chef (and owner) Jerry Liedtke spends the harvest season forming relationships with growers, sampling, purchasing and (most important) cooking the treasures he finds. In the winter he remains true to his goal of finding and using as many local ingredients as possible from Meats, Cheeses and Breads to Greens and Pastas. The Tin Angel is nestled into a pioneer era home with a patio facing the park. Lunches are upscale with approachable prices and attitudes. Dinners are served on vintage china at linened tables from a friendly and professional wait staff. Local art graces the walls and local musicians serenade from the corner of the room on Wednesday through Saturday evenings. A small but lovely Wine list, Creative Martinis and Local Beers round out the experience.
