Kaila Stivers
Kaila is a graduate of Northwest Career College where she excelled in many areas of massage therapy. There she grew a reputation for being able to help relieve many clients suffering from the effects of Fibromyalgia. This showed her the power of healing touch and the relief it brings to so many. She first became interested in how the body could move with such ease from her time growing up as a dancer. To keep up with the demands of this art form she learned preventative measures she and fellow dancers could take to better care for the bodies which let them share so many stories on the stage. A passion for movement and an appreciation for the body's natural healing abilities led Kaila to a career as a Massage Therapist. She is continuously working to perfect her techniques in the new passion that she strongly believes is an art form that should be shared with everyone. With an ever expanding massage tool box, Kaila works to provide the best care possible for each individual clients' needs. Her advanced knowledge of Swedish Massage allows her to put the skills she has acquired to use. Intuitively listening to the body so she can better feel what is going on beneath the surface. This allows her to take the necessary steps to create a fully beneficial treatment. Kaila feels humbled and excited to help spread the word of massage and the importance of a strong mind/body connection for everyday health and positive living.
Vernon Thomas, LMT
Vernon was born and raised in Las Vegas. As a child, while his Mother was in college studying to be a nurse, Vernon was often watched by his Grandmother who had Type II diabetes. Helping her administer insulin to her abdominal region birthed his curiosity about healthcare. After several years as a nurse, the work took a toll on his Mother's back, leading to her becoming disabled with spondylolisthesis. This spurred Vernon to study human anatomy in high school, knowing his goal was to be able to help the two wonderful women who had raised him and other people who may also be suffering. Appreciating what his Mother did, but not liking pharmaceuticals, Vernon decided to take the homeopathic route to health and the healing of mind, body and soul. Graduation came but not before his first day of Northwest Career College where he started his study of massage. Vernon's expertise lies in Muscle Integration, Swedish, and Deep Tissue massage techniques. His favorite modality is Muscle Integration where he gets the sense of therapeutically repairing muscle tissue when performing this technique. Swedish is his 'go to' treatment as he understands the health benefits of increasing blood flow to tissues. As for deep tissue, Vernon sees himself as a life coach teaching the importance understanding the effects of too much pressure on tissues and of hydration before and after a session. Vernon enjoys helping people find ways out of pain and uses his knowledge of massage to aid clients on their path to health and well-being.
Robert Amaro, LMT
Robert has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in Las Vegas for the past three years. Prior to becoming a massage therapist he worked for almost twenty years in the casino industry spending time in Minnesota, Mississippi, and finally Las Vegas. Several years ago Robert needed neck surgery. As part of his rehabilitation process he was introduced to massage therapy and was fascinated by the results it had on his body. Shortly thereafter he made the decision to become a massage therapist. Robert is passionate about the positive effects of massage therapy on the mind, body and spirit. He has specialized in CranioSacral Therapy Massage and views himself as a facilitator of the healing process. This is not a "beat the muscle up until it gives in" type of massage; rather it is a release of tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunctions using only the lightest of touch. Robert intentionally creates a massage that will suit your specific needs. His serene approach offers harmony, balance, and ease to your busy life. When Robert is not working at Nathan Adelson Hospice, assisting the instructors at local message therapy school, or working to continue his education, he volunteers at The Caring Place, which is a facility for people who live with cancer.

Essential oils enhance the effects of the steam and add anti-inflammatory, decongestant, & antiseptic properties to this treatment. How it works: Steam relieves inflammation and congestion of upper respiratory mucous membranes. Relieves throat irritation by moistening the air. Relieves spasmodic breathing (asthma, croup). Loosens secretions and stimulates discharge of mucous from the throat and lungs (natural expectorant). Relaxes muscles and relieves coughing. Keeps mucous membranes from excessive drying. This is a truly soothing treat in times of congestion and shortness of breath.

Weight Loss Treatment
This treatments starts with an Ayurvedic massage oil to stimulate the tissue and allow the body to burn fat more easily, followed by an application of Body Mud to facilitate detoxification and reduce puffiness. After an Invigorating Herbal Steam, Trim Balm is applied to areas of concern. In order to achieve the desired results of boosting the metabolism, losing weight, inches and excess body fat, this weight loss program should be followed over a 6 8 week period with a minimum of twice weekly steam treatments and a maximum of three. While steam alone will result in most people losing weight, the products in this treatment package provide additional benefits and help to accelerate the process. How it works: During a heat treatment your heart works harder, pumping blood at a greater rate to boost circulation, supplying the conditioning benefits of exercise. Heart rate, cardiac output and metabolic rate increase. Because of this increase during a treatment you are burning calories, not just water. Results will vary for each person. Every weight loss program needs to be complemented by a healthy diet and lifestyle. It is very important to drink plenty of water while on this program. Clients who complete the program can expect to look and feel younger, lighter and healthier.

Useful to ease pain caused by arthritis, rheumatism, fibromyalgia, joint stiffness and muscle spasms, this treatment starts with a full body massage with therapeutic herb infused oil followed by a purifying moist heat treatment and application of Joint Balm to any areas of concern.
