Live Stream Gentle Chair
In our live stream Gentle Chair Yoga classes, traditional yoga poses are adapted to make them safe, easy, and enjoyable for people who face physical limitations for whatever reason. Each week, we'll focus on a specific area of the body, working to gently stretch, strengthen, and heal that particular area. We'll connect our focused practice with the full body, the breath, and the mind, for a well-rounded and relaxing practice. What you will need: I Chair. The chair is our main prop, used as support for both seated and standing poses. Please use a sturdy, stable chair – one without wheels – and preferably one without arms, which can get inthe way of certain movements. 1 Yoga Strap. A strap will sometimes be used during class – but if you don't own and don't wish to purchase a yoga strap, you can easily substitute a necktie, a bathrobe belt, or a long scarf.
