The Starving Artist opened in July 2010 and has been serving the artists of Hendersonville and the rest of Western North Carolina ever since.
We would like to think of The Starving Artist as a one-stop-shop for artists of all levels. Think of us as your support team.
We offer a large variety of art materials so you can get exactly what you need. From paints, canvases, and brushes, to printmaking and mixed media materials we trust that you'll find The Starving Artist one of the most diverse and well stocked art supply stores in Western North Carolina. We like to say we have canvases from 2" x 2" up to 48" x 60" and most sizes in between.
We are a locally owned retail art supply store near downtown Hendersonville, NC. We offer a wide range of professional and student grade art materials as well as quality custom framing and canvas printing at an affordable price. Costanza Knight also offers her Juicy Art Classes for kids every Monday & Tuesday.
