Company History
Richard Gephart and Martin Hill met in 1999 while volunteering on numerous community fundraising projects and, in subsequent years, served as members of the Board of Directors for the Raleigh Jaycees. Professionally, Martin sold residential real estate for a large Raleigh general brokerage firm. Richard worked for a custom home builder, and was a licensed, residential home inspector. Their similar interests in construction and real estate led to the formation of their company, Gephart Hill Realty. Along with growth and expansion, the name of the company changed. About Us
The Pointe at Lake Gaston opened May of 2011 at Morningstar Marinas. The restaurant used to be “The 903 Grill” and most people remember it as the convenience store that served Breakfast, Lunch and THE place to feed the fish.
Owners Chad Barbour & Randall Robinson, who are Realtors on Lake Gaston, saw the potential in this little convenience store/grill and recognized the demand for casual waterfront dining and LIVE entertainment, along with a TIKI BAR, Beach, and Stage. So in late February of 2011, the men got to work renovating and transforming the space into The Pointe at Lake Gaston!
