Class Descriptions
Dumbbell Conditioning
Non-stop action using dumbbells to condition and strengthen your entire body. Move in every direction functionally and traditionally.
Butts & Guts
30 minute, multi-level class concentrating on abs, lower back and glutes.
Cardio-Kick Fusion
Kick-Box with a twist! Take this high energy class that will infuse resistance with weights, tubes, medicine balls with Tae-Bo styled cardio.
Stretch & Core
This class will work in two parts. First, you will work your Core safely and efficiently. The second half of class will be spent stretching each muscle group.
The Core
Go way beyond just working your abs. Condition your entire core musculature. See and feel the results with this 30 minute class.
Barbell Fusion
A total body workout utilizing barbells, dumbbells, and body weight. Light weights with high reps to build stamina, lean muscle, and strength.
Total Body Sculpt & Core
Strengthen and sculpt your entire body from head to toe with this amazing weight training routine. Core exercises are integrated throughout the class, with compound exercises to maximize your workout.
Strength & Stability
This strength-based class uses resistance balls, medicine balls, bands, barbells and dumbbells to challenge the participant's stability, balance, flexibility and strength.
Cross Conditioning
Change your physique! In this class you will work extremely hard and come out with the body you've always desired. You'll use kettle bells, weights, medicine balls and your own body weight to reach your goals.
Martial Arts Fusion
A Martial Arts Practice specializing in movement, balance, kicking, punching, strength, yoga & meditation.
Zumba
A fusion of Latin & international music dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system.
Kettle Strength & Conditioning
You will use kettle bells, cardio, and your own body weight to work your body to the max.
Battle Stations
This intense cardio/strength class will keep you moving through a non-stop circuit style workout. Be ready for anything and everything!
The X-Factor
This class format will feature 4 unique blocks of work: Cardio, Lower Body Strength, Upper Body Strength, and Core. Each block is approximately 12 minutes long, ending with a cool down for a full 55 minute work out.
Kick-Box
This Tae-Bo styled workout will challenge your upper and lower body and every muscle in between. Cross train your muscle groups and teach your body how to move in new and different ways.
Crazy Legs & Abs
Work your lower body & abs to the max in this class!
Bag Blast!
Gloves & wraps required. Kick butt, sweat pouring, bag slamming, power punching work out on heavy bags, all to awesome music!
Total Body

Ropes & Resistance
Check out this brand new, innovative class. Lighter, skinnier, and shorter ropes are used, along with weights, to provide a unique, high energy workout. The ropes are designed to work every muscle through power and motion.
Boot Camp
Be prepared for anything! This cardiovascular challenge can combine intervals, multi-impacted moves, boxing, jump rope, medicine ball drills and more! Leave it to the instructor to surprise, energize and challenge your endurance.
4 x 4
Another spin on timed workouts! In this class, you will do 4 rounds of 4 excersizes at one minute each. This class is for all levels as you go at your own pace. Get in and get it done!
Barbell Blast!
You will use adjustable barbells & plates, and body weight exercises throughout this class. You will be coached through each muscle group adjusting your barbell weight as appropriate and learning how to manipulate weight for the best results!
Lean Body Burn
Total body workout using weights, gliders and medicine balls for a fat burning workout with little bursts of cardio to keep the heart rate elevated.
Max Interval
Interval training at its best! Maximize your workout with intense cardio moves with very little rest and alternate with some fun, challenging strength moves to maximize your results.
Strength Training
You will train your body using barbells, dumbbells, and bands working each body part individually. This class will give you the opportunity to use heavier weights and enhance your weekly workout.
Hiit Training
A high intensity interval workout that includes strength, cardio, and plyometric. You will burn more fat, build endurance, and improve performance.
Total Body Blast
A strength training class using weights and resistance. Short bursts of cardio will be interjected throughout the class for a maximum burn.
Dance Fusion
A mash up of hip hop, Zumba, and jazz. Keep your body moving and have fun while your doing it!!
A dynamic cardio workout that will keep your heart pumping. The instructor will take you through a variety of drills to maximize your cardio workout. The lights are down, the music is awesome. Take your seat and enjoy the ride!
Cycle Zone
Wireless display of performance on the screens! You will be able to watch your power, heart rate, and rpms on the screens. You can compare yourself to others as incentive to do better! Don't worry, you can also opt out and not have your data projected on the screens!
Spin & Sculpt
The best of both worlds! You will do a continuous 40 minutes of SPIN, followed by 5-7 minutes of an upper body workout on the bike while pedaling to medium resistance, ending in a continuous spin. Our Bikes Use Spd Clips.
Video Spin
Same awesome Spin class with the addition of music videos and motivational quotes and videos. Watch from the projector or on our 2 flat screen t.v.'s. You have a view from any angle in our spin room!
THE GYM's Etiquette
Attire
To ensure an effective workout, all members are asked to wear proper workout attire and sneakers. Please, no jeans, boots or sandals during class participation. Spin shoes are not allowed anywhere in the facility other than the Spin Room. Also, please refrain from walking around the facility bare foot. in Addition, Cell Phones, Gym Bags and Coats Are Allowed in the Locker Room, Lobby and Juice Bar Area Only! Please be courteous! Please be certain to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to all classes in order to have proper set-up. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your spot, as it may be given to the next person on the sign-up sheet. We appreciate your support in helping us make your experience at THE GYM a truly unique and pleasurable one

Class Description
At THE GYM, we believe achieving total health means strengthening both the mind and the body. For this reason, we developed a class schedule that enhances the mind-body connection and helps to create a more perfect environment for your progress. Your experience will be enhanced when exercising in the appropriate temperature and when using the proper equipment specific to each class. Yoga mats, yoga blocks, Pilates rings, straps and blankets are all available. Our Eastern Philosophy program consists of yoga, Pilates, active-isolated stretch, and barre classes. Our instructors are highly trained professionals in their specific discipline. Our unique 'soft studio' consists of bamboo wood flooring and a domed ceiling that enhances your experience.
Yoga
The yoga program at THE GYM is designed to offer our members a variety of yoga styles. Hatha, the traditional style of yoga, originated over 5,000 years ago in India. All yoga is Hatha yoga; however, many different styles have emerged. The class descriptions below should assist members in choosing an appropriate yoga style. Every instructor is unique and is influenced by a blend of several yoga disciplines. We encourage participants to experience the same style yoga with different instructors.
Mindful Vinyasa
Unlock your strength and flexibility in this class through alignment. Whether you' re a beginner or advanced Yoga student, you will increase your range and learn to move through poses without injury.
Hatha Yoga
The traditional style of yoga taught for thousands of years. This style of yoga tends to hold postures for longer. Emphasis is placed on breathing as well as awareness. Level 1-2-3 recommended yoga style for beginners.
Anusara Yoga
This Hatha style yoga integrates the spirit of the heart with precise bio-mechanical alignment. Throughout the practice, students will balance energetically, flowing in and out of each Ansana.
Vinyasa Yoga
This yoga is practiced in a flow-like style. Participants will move from one pose right into the next in a sequence of fluid movements. Emphasis is placed on flexibility and strength.
Vinyasa Amped
Takes the traditional vinyasa series and incorporates a dynamic more rapid flow that detoxifies, heals and rejuvenates the body. Often referred to as "meditation in motion", this open level power vinyasa class cultivates strength, endurance, focus, balance, and flexibility.
Yoga Boot Camp
Combines the flow of Vinyasa with slow body weight exercises, push-ups, squats and dynamic resistance.
Pilates
Pilates can be a very effective method in helping to improve core strength, balance, posture and flexibility. Like yoga, there are many unique training styles. Our Pilates program offers a wide range of instructors and allows you to choose a style most appropriate for your lifestyle.
Ts Core / Ts Core Barre
Total Strengthening Core -A fusion of Ballet and Pilates that focuses on strengthening and lengthening the core muscles.
Barre Strength
Light weights & high reps combined with the Barre exercises you love, make this a challenging class that will work your entire body!
Booty Barre
A twist on the traditional Open Barre class. A faster flow will have your muscles shaking and your heart pumping.
Core Barre
Each major muscle group is worked until exhaustion, and then stretched to promote lengthening and flexibility.
Barrelates
This 45 minute class will work the elements of Barre and Mat Pilates for a full body workout. Each week, you will use different props: light hand weights, Pilates balls, fitness circles and dynabands.
