The Glass Garden, LLC started out under the name The Corner Studio (it was located in the corner of our basement) in 1996. At that time, we were selling our products at a local craft mall. Wanting to expand our business to better serve our customers, we moved to a storefront in downtown Janesville, WI at 12 North Parker Drive in July of 1998, sharing space with a local craft store. The response from our customers was so great (thanks to all!) that we immediately started feeling cramped in the 400 square feet of area that we occupied. During the next 4 ½ years, we acquired more space as the craft store allowed us to expand. Eventually we took over the entire 1,250 square feet of space at that location. It wasn’t long before we outgrew even that amount of space. We looked around downtown Janesville for another suitable, (larger!), location. In November of 2002, we moved to our current location at 25 West Milwaukee Street in Janesville. With 2,500 square feet, double the area of the previous location, we have room to expand and grow, to continue providing the best in customer service. Once again, in June of 2007, we were able to expand to 3,600 square feet, which allows us to increase the amount of stained glass and supplies that we can offer to our customers. This expansion has also allowed us to increase the selection and number of classes that we can offer, since we are able to carry the supplies necessary for teaching the classes. We offer a full range of goods and services to cater to the full spectrum of your stained glass needs, offering beginning and advanced classes. We also stock supplies for every stained glass need you may have: pattern books, solder, flux, soldering irons, glass grinders and saws, and of course racks upon racks of glass - you name it, we probably have it. We are also personally available to help answer your questions, or to aid you in your choice of glass.
