About Us
The Getaway Cafe has emerged as a local favorite over the past few years. Many Meyers residents ride their bikes over during the summer, and the outside dining area is dog-friendly which is rare for a South Lake Tahoe restaurant.
All of our sauces and salad dressings are homemade, and we only use fresh baked bread for our sandwiches and other bread products. We're certainly known for our burgers and our creative, gourmet breakfast menu! You must try our signature dish, the coconut-crusted french toast!
