About Us
The Gallows is a welcoming hangout on The Neck of Boston’s South End providing top-notch fare and cocktails in abundance. The Gallows is an extension of your own kitchen, only better. The menu is set up for sharing – like a family supper – featuring boards of local cheeses and house cured meats, gravy soaked poutine, delicious burgers; a seasonal menu that changes weekly. The food is simple and straightforward but still exciting and fresh; an updated take on Yankee frugality. The Gallows opened in June 2010, by Rebecca Roth and Seth Morrison and has met with great reviews. They met years ago in the kitchen of another South End star, Perdix, polished their approach at The Biltmore in Newton, and The Gallows is their newest independent venture.
