The Freight House Restaurant is “A must visit when in La Crosse.” This National Historic Site was originally constructed in 1880 as the Milwaukee Road Freight House. Keeping the history and railroad theme intact, it was renovated in 1978 and is the area’s premier steak and seafood restaurant.
