Whiskey + Bitters + Sugar Why fix what isn't broken? We've taken the classic "Old Fashioned" recipe, and well, kept it basically the same! In the late 1800s, it was common as a morning drink to help with one's complexion. we're not open that early (and no, you can't sleep here), but you can certainly start your night off right with this simple, yet perfectly balanced classic cocktail.
Vodka + Lime Stock + Sugar We thought we'd break out a classic with a subtle twist. We've switched out the traditional gin for vodka, and we think you're going to like it. The origin of the gimlet's unique name is said to have come from Rear-Admiral Sir Thomas Desmond Gimlette, who served as a doctor to sailors in the British army in the 19th century. Rumor has it he administered lime juice to fight scurvy and served it with gin to mask the harsh flavor of pure citrus. It was so essential to survival that a law was passed in 1867 requiring ships to carry fresh lime juice so it could be served as a daily ration!
Rum + Lime Stock + Sugar There are a couple legends about the origin of the daiquiri. the most popular one tells of a man named Pagliucci, an italian mining engineer, who was visiting Jennings S. Cox, an American mining engineer in the late 1800s. This visit took place near the iron mines on Daiquiri Beach. Every morning, Cox would concoct a drink that Pagliucci and his miners would throwback to start their day. Another story involving Jennings S. Cox tells of him making a punch for guests one night and running out of Gin. he replaced it with Rum, the most easily available liquor at hand. He reportedly named it after the nearby beach, and the rest was history.
