Class Descriptions
Yin Restorative
Our Yin Restorative class focuses on therapeutic healing of the body, mind and spirit. Set in a non-heated, tranquil room, the instructor helps students to cultivate stillness and deep relaxation. Poses are held for 5 – 10 minutes to target the ligaments and connective tissues of the body, often with the assistance of props. This class is a beautiful compliment to a vigorous Yang practice. It is also highly beneficial to students recovering from injury or coping with stress and anxiety.
The Biltmore Studio was founded on the belief that yoga is truly for every one. Our commitment is to teach and foster the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga in a loving and community-based setting. The practice of yoga at The Biltmore Studio is as much of a “work-in” as a “workout”. It is about a lifestyle change and a shift in perspective.
