This 10-week class is a follow-up to Beginner Acting Class I, and focuses on scene study and script analysis. After taking this class, beginner students can audition to be a part of the professional Scene Study Intensive Workshops.
Weekend Explorations in Acting for Pre-Tweens (7-9)
This class focuses on scene work and script analysis. Teens will be responsible for finding their own material to work on, and will be playing with multiple scenes and monologues. It is designed for students seeking to pursue theatre in high school, college or professionally.
Weekend Explorations in Acting for Teens (14-17)
These weekend kids acting classes encourage spontaneity, simplicity and fun. We begin with ensemble building games, move on to the basics of acting, monologues, and conclude with scene work (some class time will be devoted to students memorizing their texts).
Teen Monologue Coaching Class
This improv class, specifically for teens, explores improv games, techniques, and concepts in a fun, supportive environment. Students will become more spontaneous, creative, playful, and imaginative, all while developing valuable theater and interpersonal skills. No experience required.
Beginners Acting Class I: The Basics
This 10-week class is designed for the beginning / amateur adult actor, and will teach you the fundamentals of the craft. The class highlights quick and powerful ways to make your performance more natural and spontaneous. No experience is necessary.
