The Barking Dog is proud to offer the very finest in boarding accommodations for your dog.We have individual, spacious, indoor-outdoor runs which are completely climate controlled to maximize the comfort of your pup during their stay with us. It is our policy to allow your dog free access to the "in" and "out" portions of their run unless inclement weather or extreme temperatures dictate otherwise. During cold weather, our runs are warmed by radiant floor heat. This method of heating is a comfortable and consistent form which is especially soothing to young puppies and older dogs with stiff joints. Our outdoor floors are also heated for the purpose of eliminating ice and snow build-up which is essential for good sanitation. During the summer season, indoor runs are air conditioned to ensure your pet's comfort. All runs are cleaned on an ongoing basis, and disinfected daily.

At The Barking Dog, Ltd., we strongly feel that we have created a daycare program suitable for every breed of dog. In order to provide the best daycare experience or your dog, we do require an initial free daycare evaluation to be scheduled with one of our professional trainers prior to entering our program. Our trainers will be looking at several aspects of your dog's personality...socialization skills, fearfulness, aggression towards humans or dogs, what commands they know or commands they respond to are a few characteristics they observe. In addition, the trainer will study the information you have provided on your registration form and then introduce your dog to dogs they believe will be a "good match" Staff members are quick to identify issues before they become dangerous or bad habits. We offer several day training programs for those not quite ready for the group setting and work diligently to reinforce good behavior at all times. We continually strive to fulfill your dog's needs for socialization and exercise, while promoting proper interaction and manners.
