The Taranto Family has been in the pizza business for over 15 years. We literally started in a "big red barn" in Pickerington, Ohio, which is known as "The Pizza Barn". Dan Taranto, the founder of Taranto's Pizza and with help from his mom worked long hours on recipes and especially our delicious pizza dough recipe together. Dan got the whole Taranto clan together and came up with more recipes, and taste testing that was amazing!
We knew that we didn't want to be the cheapest pizzeria with the cheapest ingredients, or the fastest, or even the biggest. What we wanted was a quality pizza that you would come back for again and again. You will find in our products only the best ingredients. We make our dough fresh, slice and dice veggies, and meats, our salads are made fresh everyday and so is our pizza sauce. We take the time to do it right. You won't find frozen or microwaveable ingredients. Maybe you won't find the perfectly round pizza crust you see in some of the big chains, but that is because everything is done by hand!
