tackle Box is Washington DC’s first and only lobster shack. Nowhere else can you get a taste of your last beach vacation while still in the city. Our menu frequently changes to reflect the freshest ingredients available. Whether you’re craving a bowl of clam chowder, a pound of peel and eat shrimp, or a lobster pot to cook at home, Tackle Box is the place!
We like summer vacation at the beach. That’s why we decided to open a lobster shack in the middle of the city for those days we couldn’t make the drive. Tackle Box is the second project from Pure Hospitality Restaurant Group, led by Jonathan Umbel. Situated just next door to big brother Hook Restaurant, Tackle Box is the casual, sustainable seafood option in Georgetown.
