About Us
The Switchback Grille and Trading was founded in 1996 at the gateway to Zion National Park. Inspired by the majesty of Zion Canyon, Switchback was conceived of by Dan and Mike Marriott in hopes of enhancing the Zion experience for all who are lucky enough to make their way to this incredible part of the world. Construction began in 1995 on a building that would house a restaurant, gift shop and package liquor agency. On May 10, 1996, Switchback opened for business and has been taking care of park visitors ever since. Switchback’s special blend of customer care, quality and attention to detail truly set it apart
