Kareena is one of the best teachers I've ever had. Her classes are relaxing and challenging, with a lot of focus on deep, gentle movements. The multi-level format of her classes is really nice- feel like I can go to either a level 1 or 2 class, and still get just as much out the experience. She gives a lot of personal attention and great adjustments. The fact that it's a small studio space lends to the personalized experience, as it's never crowded and all of the students are really friendly. Plus, Kareena's smile is just downright warming.

Yoga Basics
Mondays - 10:30-1130 AM; Wednesdays - 10:30-11:30 AM. Structural Body Alignment Keep your body in balance thru a soothing sequence of rhythmic torso isolations, deep breathing and gentle yoga postures. Resist stress thru a stronger more supple spine.
Level 1
Wednesdays - 7:30-8:30 PM. Stretch Breathe and Meditate Release the day's stress thru floor postures and mindful meditation. Relax tight shoulder-neck muscles Stretch hamstrings and lower back.
Level 1-2
Sundays - 10-11:15 A.M. Balance Grounding Core Stability Backbends and leg stretches to strengthen the psoas and hip-flexors. Knee, ankle and foot isolations for grounding and stability.
Yin Flow
Sundays - 4-5 PM; Relax and Rejuvenate Stretch without strain or stress thru supported and modified asanas. Nourish your inner-being thru a variety of therapeutic pranyamas. Experience total relaxation.
Yang Flow
Saturdays - 3-4 PM; Yoga to Conga Stretch strengthen and align your body to soothing drums. Lots of squats, standing lunges and warrior moves to open hips and strengthen inner thighs, legs and feet. No floorwork. Closing meditation.

As a Christmas gift and New Year's resolution, I decided to enroll in the six-week beginners belly dancing classes at Sweet Magic Studio on Saturdays. After the first class on January 6, I was very impressed and instantly captivated. Kareena is a wonderful instructor who is highly knowledgeable, caring, patient and enthusiastic about teaching. The classes are so much fun and are very addictive!
