In the early 1900's two Yugoslavian immigrants left their family and friends in hope of the American Dream. Arriving separately Dan started work in Wyoming as a coal miner and started working at "The Minors" speakeasy in 1912 after marrying Bessie or as she is famously known as "Momma" in 1916 they later acquired the bar. The bar's origin is Germany and was brought over on a covered wagon many years earlier is still there today. The restaurant opened in 1941, we were the first to have pizza in the state of Wyoming. Other first dishes included Spaghetti and Chicken In the Rough. after the fire in 41' they rebuilt and continued to do what they loved with their eight kids always around to help out. We started serving our famous steaks in the 1960's. Everything to this day is still homemade exactly the way Momma passed it down her children and grandchildren. She always made sure no one went hungry. Momma Svilar passed away in 1981 but her memory, recipes, and legacy will live on forever.
