Florida Keys lobster remains the largest export from the Keys. Every day from August 6 through March 31, fresh Florida lobster can be had throughout the Keys. Famous commercial fishing families such as the Hills, from Key Largo Fisheries, and the Pitons, are plying the waters of Key Largo in search of the finest lobster and stone crabs around. Mahi mahi, grouper, tuna, and yellowtail snapper are brought to the commercial docks at mile marker 100 daily, by fishermen such as Captain Cecil Everett and Captain George Clark. Of these fresh fish, Sundowners specifies only the freshest, “top of the catch,” seafood and sushi grade tuna.
Meticulously checked for freshness, these fish are filleted daily and served at their freshest at Sundowners. So enjoy your meal and thank you for supporting the fishermen and fishing industry of the Fabulous Florida Keys.
