starr Boggs started his career as a chef/restaurateur here on Eastern Long Island 27 years ago at the Inn at Quogue. Since then Starr has manned a number of local favorites including The Patio and 23 Sunset Ave., the first location of Starr Boggs.
Starr grew up on a farm on the Eastern Shore of Virginia where his family raised just about everything they ate. From this upbringing, Starr gained a lasting appreciation for fresh, local ingredients and a genuine commitment to community. Eastern Long Island is very similar to the eastern shore with regards to climate and availability of fresh, local produce and seafood.
