Historically significant, Spring Street Inn is an Empire Victorian Inn built in 1858 by one of the investors in the Fall River Steamship Company as his residence. Spring Street Inn may have been a stop on the Underground Railroad. The Inn is beautifully decorated and furnished with fine antiques, historic prints of old Newport and fresh floral arrangements. Innkeepers Patricia Golder and Jack Lang emphasize hospitality in casually elegant surroundings.
