Team Bio

In April of 1996 SportStan had a vision, “To provide the baseball and softball players of Hawaii an alternative means to buy top quality products at prices they could afford.”

At the time, there were only a handful of Sporting Goods dealerships that carried “quality” items. Having a daughter that played softball from the age of 10, he knew how expensive the game could be and how important it was to have quality equipment at prices that wouldn’t break the bank, especially since his daughter was a catcher.

We started with the Ultimate Bat Bag Company, selling out of our truck.

In the past 15 years, we have grown to be Hawaii’s leading dealer for Easton Sports, Wilson/DeMarini, Worth and Combat Sports, specializing in baseball and softball equipment. We retail everything from bats and balls to training aids and field equipment. SportStan is also Hawaii’s Exclusive Dealer for Elite Sports specializing in Custom Full Sublimated Uniforms, Elite apparel and the #1 selling Turf shoe for Baseball and Softball.

In January of 2010 we opened our store in Waipio.

Due to our loyal customers and word of mouth, we have been able to grow our business and outfit players around the world. From Kona to Kekaha, Alaska to West Virginia, Australia to the Philippines, SportStan is now Worldwide.

Tournaments

Location

The softball fields are located in the rear of the park. The best way to get to the softball complex is to enter the Ka Uka Blvd entrance of the park and follow the road. Stay to your right and you pass the Tennis complex. A little further and you will see the softball fields on your right.

Parking

Parking is located on the Mauka (Mountain) side of the softball complex.

Home Base

You can setup shop in a few locations. Behind fields 1 and 4 you will find plenty of hill space to pop up your tent or tarp. This is a great view of the fields from a stadium type setting. Behind field 2 you will find nothing but parking. Behind field 3 you will find some ground level space that gives just enough room for a few base camps. Whatever you do, get there early to stake your spot.
