Classes at Spiritus Studio Yoga focus on alignment. Better alignment in the poses translates into better physical results for your body. When your bones are aligned, there is less wear and tear on your joints- conduction in the nerves and an increase in blood flow occurs. Breathing can be deeper, slower, and more efficient when posture is better. Body tissues get more oxygen and the nervous system gets nourished. Our ability to cope in this fast, stress-generated life improves. Yoga is a tool to make life easier, without yoga, life is harder! The toughest problem is to commit to practicing yoga regularly - for the rest of your life!! When "life happens", and we stop practicing, do not feel guilty or stressed because of the interruption but to come on back to the studio and start again.
