Warm, pure aromatherapy and natural virgin coconut oils are gently streamed continuously onto the forehead over the "Third eye" or Ajna Chakra as known in Ayurvedic medicine. Shirodhara is perfect for those who are highly stressed as it puts your entire being - body, mind & spirit - into an altered state of tranquility. Lying on your back, your body will be cocooned in a warm comforter and your head will be positioned under the oil 'fountain' - a copper vessel with a slow-flowing spout from which the oils will stream gently onto the forehead.
