About Us
At Souvia® Tea, our goal is to educate the customer on the quality and benefits of tea and to nurture the appreciation for a beverage that is greatly enjoyed throughout the world. Souvia® Tea offers a wide selection of premium loose leaf teas and tisanes from the best tea estates in the world as well as the essentials to complete your tea experience. The idea for the tea shop was born in the Spring of 2004 on a two hour hike that lasted six hours while we were a bit lost in the Maverick Mountains south of Prescott, Arizona with our black lab Hagrid. Even with a GPS, a simple wrong turn on a jeep trail led us on an arduous path up and down a series of ridge lines. During the hike Kerstin hashed out her concept for the stores. Bret did the mental math on what it would take to get up and going and we both debated the various aspects of the store. We finally ended up back in a small caf© where we hashed out an approach over dinner.
