Snoopy's is proud of its tradition as a local, family-owned and operated food stand.Snoopy's began in 1978 when Steve Webb, a long time Raleigh native and local entrepreneur, decided to convert an old gas station on the corner of Wake Forest Road and Whitaker Mill into an eastern N.C. grill. The late 1980's saw the appearance of Mr. Snoopy, wearing his neat tuxedo, and claiming, "Every dog has its day, and its nights." Since Snoopy's was one of the first fast food restaurants in Raleigh to stay open really late, it became the place to go on weekend latenights.
