Blue Moon Belgian Style Wheat, Witbier 5.4% Denver, CO
Brewed with oats for creaminess and spiced with the perfect combination of orange peel for subtle sweetness. It started with our brewmaster, Keith Villa, wanting to craft a beer inspired by the flavorful Belgian Wits he enjoyed while studying brewing in Belgium. He brewed his interpretation using Valencia orange peel versus the traditional tart Curaçao orange peel, for a subtle sweetness. Then he added oats and wheat to create a smooth, creamy finish that's inviting to the palate. As a final touch, he garnished the beer with an orange slice to heighten the citrus aroma and taste. Its natural unfiltered appearance adds to the depth of flavors in Belgian White

Dry-Hopped Pale Ale. For batch number 1500, Josh & Brian decided to brew a big hoppy beer, yet make it quaffable, generously dry-hopped with Amarillo & Simcoe As we approached our 1500th batch in San Leandro, the brewers Josh & Brian decided to brew a big hoppy beer, yet make it quaffable and decided to attempt something different. They set out to make a pale ale with a clean, stripped down malt bill, and plenty of late addition hops that would give the beer huge flavors and aromas of bright citrusy American hops, without overwhelming the balance with bitterness. The resulting beer is packed with an aromatic and flavorful hop punch. The brewers and the people loved it. Now 1500 is one of Drake's flagship beers. Lagunitas Hop Stoopid Ale, Double IPA 8.0% Petaluma, CA
The beer with a guarantee built right into the name, this one is destined to blast through the flavors from the night before. "Clean this mess up or else we'll all end up in jail…those test tubes and the scale…just get 'em all outta here…" He was referring to the complex super-critical-CO2 hop extraction equipment set up on the table in the lab across from the brewhouse. Hop extracts are for the BIG brewers, he thought – suitable only for crummy sub-standard and barely-passable industrial lagers, not the subtle and elegant craft beer made here. But wrong he was. The New Brewer does not eschew any possible inputs. In this case the mountain of extracts will replace the mountain of hop vegetative material in the kettle thus creating cleaner hop flavors and preventing the otherwise spinach-like mess of a kettle full of super-hopped wort from clogging up a pump or worse. The sensuous honey-like amber ooze was administered intravenously to the wort kettle and the sacrament was complete. Another kettle of Hop Stoopid is once again raised up and fermented on high
Bottle (12oz)290 cal$5.50
Lagunitas IPA, IPA 6.2% Petaluma, CA
A well-rounded, highly drinkable IPA. A bit of Caramel Malt barley provides the richness that mellows out the twang of hops. This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries of Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 miles or so of Di-Hyrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentoid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again. Now stop. Think again. And stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on
