The restaurant originally located on West Cervantes Street, moved to its current location overlooking Pensacola Bay in 1987. The location was once the Scenic Terrace, a romantic spot for dancing in the 1940’s and then Machinegun Kelly’s, a popular nightclub in the 1970’s. Gus transformed the old Pensacola landmark into a new landmark, Skopelos on the Bay. Skopelos has been the recipients of many prestigious awards.
