Microblading
Eyebrows are the most defining feature of the face. They frame your face, emphasize your eyes, and accentuate your expression. Brows give symmetry to the face.
With Microblading you can toss those brow pencils. If your brows are too light in color, if you have a gap in your brows due to a scar or even if your brows are non existent with the help of Microblading you won't have to worry about smudging brows or reapplying throughout your day. Microblading is a form of permanent makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments.
Ultherapy
Skin Vitality is a Premier Provider of Ultherapy®. We have more than one Ultherapy® device, plus our entire staff has completed Ultherapy® advanced training. So make an appointment and let us give you a little lift.
What is Ultherapy®?
Ultherapy® is a safe, non-surgical ultrasound treatment that counteracts the effects of time and gravity on your skin. Ultherapy® uses the body's own regenerative response to gently and gradually lift skin on the eyebrow, under the chin and on the neck, and smooth lines and wrinkles on the décolletage.
Will I need to take time off?
With Ultherapy® there is little-to-no downtime. After your procedure, you can resume normal activities quickly without having to follow special post-treatment measures.
What does the Ultherapy® treatment feel like?
As the ultrasound energy is delivered, you can feel tiny amounts of energy being deposited to precise depths, indicating that the collagen-building process has been initiated. Comfort levels can vary from person to person but the sensation may last only while the ultrasound energy is being delivered.
When will I see results? How long do they last?
After your Ultherapy® treatment, you may see some initial effect, but the ultimate results could take place over 2-3 months as the body naturally regenerates collagen. Since the procedure stimulates the collagen production, the time the results may last can vary. The treatment produces new collagen on the inside, but your natural aging process can dictate how long that translates into results on the outside.
How many Ultherapy® treatments will I need?
Most patients may only need one treatment. However, based on the degree of skin laxity, the biological response to the ultrasound energy and the individual's collagen-building process, some patients can benefit from additional treatments. Because skin continues to age, future touch-up treatments can help patients keep pace with the body's natural aging process.
Microneedling / Collagen Induction Therapy
Microneedling may dramatically increase the amount of healthy collagen in the skin. During the process of microneedling, small micro-channels are created in the skin to activate the body's natural healing response. This starts the regeneration cycle of the skin leading to the release of growth factors within the deeper layers of the skin. As a result, collagen and elastin production is accelerated to heal the wound, which builds new layers of healthy skin cells.
Microneedling Collagen Induction Therapy
Microneedling collagen Induction Therapy, is a new and innovative skin facial rejuvenation procedure taking the beauty industry by storm. It is a minimally-invasive, non-surgical procedure for skin rejuvenation that involves the use of a microneedling device to: reduce fine lines and deep wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, age spots, acne scars, stretch marks, and hair loss. It also leads to improved volume, strength, and resiliency to create smoother texture for brighter, more youthful looking skin. Microneedling is nearly painless, fast, minimal down-time and long-lasting way to get rid of your wrinkles.
Microneedling Hair Restoration / Hair Growth
The hair follicle from which hair arises depends on the surrounding blood vessels to provide nutrients and growth factors. With age, these blood vessels become less effective in supplying the hair follicle which then shrinks and stops producing hair. Studies have shown that improving the blood supply to follicles improves the health and functioning of the follicle. The growth factors stimulate new blood vessel growth which promotes hair growth, as well as increasing follicle and hair size. After two to three treatments, patients report a thicker, fuller head of hair.
What Types of Conditions Does Microneedling Treat?
Acne Scarring
Trauma Scars
Accumulated Sun Damage
Wrinkles
Texture and Tone
Hair Loss
What is VPL™?
Variable Pulsed Light is a safe and effective technology that is clinically proven to treat acne, rosacea, thread veins, fine lines/wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and other visible signs of sun damage. Collagen boosting VPL™ treatments leave your skin looking radiant. The variable pulses of light emitted from the VPL™ can effectively treat and remove skin imperfections safely and easily. Variable pulsed light can ensure controlled absorption of light by the target chromophore while minimizing heating of the surrounding tissue. Each light pulse consists of a sequence of rapid micro-pulses. The number, duration and frequency of micro pulses can be adapted to suit each patient, ensuring optimum treatment results are achieved every time, even on darker skin tones. VPL Treats:
Age Spots

Dual Filtering to Reduce Discomfort
All UltraPlus handpieces employ dual filtering technology to remove both the shorter, more harmful wavelengths, and also the longer wavelengths which are absorbed in water and cause non-specific heating of tissue. This can reduce pain and may minimize side effects which can enable you to deliver more energy safely to the tissue thus providing a more comfortable and effective treatment.
Is indicated for the treatment of: mild to moderate inflammatory Acne Vulgaris, benign pigmented epidermal and cutaneous lesions including warts, scars and striae, benign cutaneous vascular lesions including port wine stains, hemangiomas, facial, truncal and leg telangiectasias, rosacea, melasma, angiomas and spider angiomas, Poikiloderma of Civatte, leg veins, facial veins and venous malformations.

Laser Hair Removal
Unlike traditional methods (waxing, shaving, bleaching or using depilatory creams), Laser Hair Removal gets to the root of the problem. Most clients may immediately notice a significant reduction in hair growth after a few sessions and over time may need to shave less and less. During their lifetime an average person spends over $30, 000 and 1,400 hours waxing and shaving. Waxing and shaving can break the hair. Tugging can cause the hair to break halfway, while the rest remains attached. Then your hair tries to grow but it's been disrupted so it starts to coil. And you can end up with a large, red, swollen ingrown hair – which can even cause permanent scarring! Laser Hair Removal can effectively treat and prevent ingrown hairs from happening in the first place. The laser doesn't actually come in contact with the hair at all. The filtered light is absorbed by the pigment of the hair, which is then converted to heat. There's no tugging or pulling whatsoever. And if you already have ingrown hairs, laser hair removal can still target those hairs and the heat helps to eliminate any bacteria inside the follicle.
Why do I need multiple treatments to achieve hair removal?
Laser Hair Removal requires a series of treatments because it is only effective on hair follicles in growth phase. Growth cycles for hair changes from body area to body area. Facial hair typically grows more quickly, and body hair typically has a longer growth cycle. Length between treatments can vary from 4-8 weeks. Many clients enjoy upwards of 20% hair reduction after just a single treatment, and some are 90%-95% hair-free in just six to eight treatments.
How many sessions are required?
With each treatment, hair is reduced and for most clients' best results are seen after six to eight sessions. The actual number of sessions needed will differ depending on your hair color, hair type, body area, and skin tone. As fewer hairs grow back, treatments become less frequent and even though new hairs can begin to grow over time, they're usually finer and easy to manage. Once there is no more hair growth, we typically recommend one treatment per year to maintain your awesome results.
Which areas of the body can be treated?
Treatments are safe and effective on all areas of the body with unwanted hair. The most commonly treated areas include: bikini, underarms, lips & chin, legs, chest, back, shoulders, stomach and beard.
Should I shave?
Yes! Please shave 1-2 days before your treatment. We request that all our clients come freshly shaved for their treatments. While receiving Laser Hair Removal treatments, avoid waxing, tweezing, or threading. These techniques remove the hair from the skin, and also the bulb under the skin, which prevents the laser from targeting them.
Can I tan or use self tanner before my session?
The only way to treat tanned skin without causing burns is to use such low settings that treatment is not as effective. So please avoid sun, tanning beds (why are you even going to a tanning bed??) and self-tanner. If you have recently been in the sun, treatments will likely get postponed.
For Healthy, Brighter, Vibrant Skin
Medical grade chemical peels exfoliate and stimulate the skin to speed up and repair cell generation. Using naturally occurring acids, chemical peels are designed to shed dull, dead skin cells to promote the correction of some of the most common skin conditions, restore a healthy glow and improve product penetration. Many peels work at a cellular level and don't visually "peel" the skin. These superficial peels are best done in a series and are great combined with other treatments. When a more aggressive peel is necessary, we have that too. We have a variety of peels that we customize to meet your specific skincare needs and goals. Great to refresh the face, neck, chest, hands and arms, chemical peels are excellent treatments for anyone who wants to:
Remove Surface Damage
Increase Elasticity
Reduce the Appearance of Lines and Wrinkles
Fade Sun Damage and Brown Spots
Diminish Acne
Improve Skin Texture
Restore Skin to a Healthy State
What Happens as We Age
As people age, the body's biological current and chemical energy slows down. Cellular renewal takes longer and skin cells stop performing efficiently. This leads to multiple skin problems: loss of tone, elasticity, and firmness, fine lines, wrinkles, sagging—all signs of aging.

Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a treatment that is used to gently and effectively exfoliate the skin as well as remove "peach fuzz".
It's a favorite treatment for women with sensitive skin who may get reactions from facial waxing. Dermaplaning can be virtually painless and gently clears away dead skin cells while also clearing facial hair.
