Back facials are a skin treatment that is offered to all spa clients, including teens, men and women. The techniques used in a back facial are very similar to those applied in a regular facial treatment. The only difference is that the skin products used in a back facial are formulated specifically for the skin on your back, which is much tougher than the delicate skin on your face. Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). It has been used for many years, but many estheticians don't even know it exists, and certainly, many don't use it. When clients hear the word dermaplaning, they quickly associate the term with the procedure known as dermabrasion, and won't even consider it as a possible treatment. Because dermaplaning is a quick procedure with few to no adverse effects, it has quickly gained popularity among cosmetic medical providers across the country. Collagen Induction Therapy/CIT/Micro Needling is a healthy alternative to skin resurfacing without thinning or creating damage to the skin and it actually thickens the skin.
