Its practice focuses on decisive techniques including throws, immobilizations, strikes, and joint locks, all practiced within a context in which weapons (such as knives, swords, and staffs) are assumed to be present. You'll learn in this introductory class the powerful and effective movements of Aikido by learning to redirect your attacker's force and momentum until a situation is stabilized.
