Shemtov’s Pizza had been a mainstay family cafe in Miami since 2005. But restaurant owner Baruch Sandhaus wished to further wow diners. His gastronomic concept would be, as he said, “beyond the imagination and the ordinary.” Beyond by Shemtov’s is the culinary coup d'état.
The fun and festive complex looks anything but familiar. Exposed brick walls line the loft-sized, orange-brown colored space with an open-slot, industrial style dropped ceiling. It is a more spectacular version of the classic pizzeria, and on par with his Rare Steakhouse, a gourmet meat bistro, which is also nearby.
