About Us
When we opened Seven Stars in January 2001, we had a simple mission: Bake great stuff and treat our customers well. In those days, we did almost everything ourselves, with the help of a very small staff. We baked and sold every loaf of bread and every pastry under one roof on Hope Street. Time has passed and we have grown, but our mission has stayed the same. As our retail business grew and we started selling to restaurants and grocery stores, we outgrew our baking capacity on Hope Street and opened an offsite baking facility in Pawtucket. Since then we have opened a shop on Broadway in Providence and a shop at the Rumford Center in East Providence. Our tiny staff has grown to more than 60 hard working, dedicated people, without whom we could never have made the progress we have.
