Keep a beginner's mind! Great if you're just starting out or looking for a softer practice with more detailed instruction. We will cover basic yoga philosophy and postures.
Bridge the transition from beginner to intermediate level classes, or just brush up on your basics. This class will introduce intermediate level postures at a slower pace than our more aerobic classes.
Move to the next level. This is a more aerobic class that will help build endurance and introduce more challenging postures. Previous yoga experience highly recommended.
Similar to a beginner class with less emphasis on strengthening poses and more stretching.
Yin yoga focuses on connective tissues, fascia, and the major joints of the body through long passive holds of primarily seated and supine postures.
Beat the Monday Blues
Finally, a reason to get out of bed on a Monday! This beginner / intermediate class includes physical asana practice designed to release any weekend indulgences, inspirational readings to help you through the work-week, and a guided meditation to prepare you for the week ahead.
Ashtanga Inspired Flow

Massage by Kim Thompson
Kim followed in her mother's footsteps and decided to move to San Diego, CA from New York to study massage therapy at Mueller College of Holistic Studies.
She graduated in 1996 and immediately began building her massage therapy practice. Kim specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Prenatal Massage. She has worked in conjunction with acupuncturists, structural integration practitioners, nutritionists, chiropractors, and spas. She fell in love with the west coast and made it her home for the next 16 years. As Kim's massage therapy practice grew, so did her interest in women's health. She became a Doula in 2000 and started working for the UCSD Hearts and Hands Volunteer Doula Program, the largest volunteer Doula program in the country. She loves helping women through the magical time of pregnancy as well as through labor and the postpartum period. In 2005, Kim became Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB) and received a 1000-hour Holistic Health Practitioner degree from Mueller College. In early 2012, Kim's husband was given an amazing opportunity to move to the east coast, so together with their two daughters, Isabella and Adelaide, they packed up and moved to Charleston, SC! Kim has a passion for helping women and their families during all phases of their lives and considers it an honor to be able to help people find the healing from within themselves.
