Gyrokinesis exercises are the core of Juliu Horvath's methodology. Gyrokinesis exercises are performed while seated on stools, standing and laying on the floor. This movement systematically and gently works the joints and muscles through rhythmic undulating exercises. Postures are not held for long periods of time. Instead, postures are smoothly connected through use of breath, making exercises appear and feel more like a dance than traditional yoga. Beginner classes start with self-massage and simple breathing patterns to the awaken the body. More advanced classes add endurance training to prepare for more strenuous activities.
