About Us
Once upon a time – as all stories must begin – there was a family named Pirone searching for a Pennsylvania home. The eldest daughter and her mate searched the countryside to find an appropriate place. A property was selected and a business plan perfected. A short time later, all seven family members, plus two on the way, would move to Stroudsburg on a day in May.
Thirty years have passed and the family business, known as Stroudsmoor Country Inn, has grown to include 60 charming guest accommodations, a public restaurant called SCI, Stroudsmoor Inn Towne a bakery café and five dedicated event venues hosting intimate gatherings to grand celebrations of 350 guests.
Today, three generations of family members work to ensure their guests a most memorable experience. From the moment they arrive until they say farewell, STROUDSMOOR guests are pampered with old-world hospitality, classic and competitive cuisine, and a host of well-appointed amenities, including a spa and salon, natatorium and fitness center, floral and décor team, photography studio, and event planning services un-equaled by any in the region.
