SFHC now brings you a taste from the rolling hills of Tuscany. Cantuccini, the Tuscan name for biscotti, crunchy biscuit like cookies made with nuts, spices and sometimes dried fruit. We deconstructed it and made a star anise ice cream with brandy soaked raisins, almonds and pieces of Cantuccini folded into it. It will take your mouth soaring to "Lo stivale"
Nothing like the bright color and tart taste of a kiwi to lift your spirits during the chilly winter months in San Francisco. We've got a crisp, smooth sorbet for you all made from fresh kiwis that captures the whole feel of the fruit. Just saying the word brings a smile to our faces.
Blood Orange Sherbet
We think that citrus fruits ripen in the winter to give us that sense of bright, peppy happiness when we need it the most, during those cold and rainy winter months . Blood oranges have been delicious this season, with the right balance of tart tang and a dash of sweet. Grab yourself a scoop of this beautiful, silky pink sherbet and you'll be walking down the street as a cockeyed optimist bubbling with unbridled enthusiasm!
French Roast Coffee
Coffee Lovers Rejoice! This is not just ice cream that's flavored like coffee, this is a cup of French Roast (au lait) in ice cream form. We use 15+ lbs of local French Roast coffee beans and steep it in the base during the pasteurization process to extract all of the real fresh flavor of the bean. Smooth, creamy, coffee+ice cream, it's hard to beat. It plays well with others too and complements most flavors in the case!
