Featured Non-Vintage Champagne
Michel Gonet, "Vindey-Montgueux", Extra Brut
$149.00
Champagne is passion. On one hand it is a beverage that seamlessly represents celebration for many, and on the other is one of the most meticulously handled wine products on Earth. At Michel Gonet, the care goes from vineyard to cellar, from hand harvest to extended lees aging. The result is a Champagne of the highest quality and finesse. The family created this new cuvée separate from their plots in Mesnil to showcase these special terroirs

Featured Vintage Champagne
A. Bergère, "Millésime", Brut, 2015
$251.00
There is no wine region in the world that expresses its terroir as wonderfully as Champagne. Adrien Bergère, the third generation of Bergères to make wine under the family name, has set his focus on elevating the Vallée du Petit Morin to the top of Champagne's growing regions. He immediately began to experiment when he took over in 2014–vinifying all the parcels separately to better understand the diversity of the plots, giving way to a parcel-based line of Champagnes. He introduced small amounts of barrels to analyze his wines in different vinification styles and see what best expressed the terroir. The Vallée du Petit Morin runs along a hilly fault line, which Adrien feels offers a rich fruitiness yet a particular, inherent freshness: a balance of all parts to find harmony

Jean-Paul Balland, 2024
$101.00
This domain is truly a family affair. Crafted by a lineage of Sancerre winegrowers dating back to the 17th century, this Sancerre is the result of 40 years of meticulous development by Jean-Paul and Magali Balland. Now led by their daughter, oenologist Isabelle, and her husband Julien, the 24-hectare family estate produces wines that honor deep-rooted tradition combined with modern precision

Featured Alsatian Wine
Riesling et al., Marcel Deiss, "Engelgarten", 2020
$126.00
In a region as old as Alsace, where winemaking dates back to the second century, innovation is usually uncommon and even frowned upon. However, innovation is what makes the wines of Marcel Deiss so exciting (and what makes the man himself so controversial). Instrumental in changing Alsatian labeling laws to allow for blends, he believes more in showcasing the unique qualities of vineyards planted with multiple grapes over the individuality of a single grape. This field blend (of Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and other Alsatian varietals) from the sparse, gravelly soils of Engelgarten is a must for any white wine lover looking for something new

Featured Chablis
Jean Dauvissat, 2023
$116.00
Although unrelated to "The" Dauvissat, Fabien Dauvissat stands out as one of the most exciting family-run producers in Chablis today. After taking over the domaine from his father in 2009, he immediately transitioned the vineyards to organic farming. Now fully certified, he has gone even further, introducing biodynamic practices across much of the family's holdings. This meticulous vineyard work is evident in the wines at every level, including his Village bottling, which draws from several of the family's left-bank parcels

Domaine Raveneau
François Raveneau's wines gained a cult following decades ago, with wine lovers around the world jumping at the chance to get their hands on anything available. The Domaine has barely grown in size since the initial purchase of a handful of small vineyards within the best Premier and Grand Cru land right after establishment in 1948. Still farmed by François' sons and granddaughter, these small plots combined only equal about eight city blocks and exist on land more coveted than Fifth Avenue

Bruno Colin, 2019

Far from the average Bourgogne Blanc, think of this as your exclusive, backstage pass to the genius of legendary Chassagne-Montrachet winemaker Bruno Colin. It packs all the elegance, minerality, and pedigree of a top-tier white Burgundy, but at a price that actually allows you to enjoy the bottle instead of just staring at it.

Featured Grand Cru Producer
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti
No winery is more famous or produces such legendary wines in Burgundy than Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The domaine has been co-owned by two families, the de Villaine's and the Roch's/ Leroy's, since 1942. Aubert de Villaine, a humble, charming, and highly intelligent vigneron, who is acutely conscious of the history of the domaine and the responsibility he bears towards it, has been the manager and face of the domaine since 1991, when Lalou Bize-Leroy left to focus on her own domaine. Often abbreviated as DRC, the winery makes some of the most exclusive wines in the world, and 98% of their vineyard holdings are in Grand Cru vineyards, including their 2 "monopoles", La Tâche and Romanée-Conti. DRC's wines, for those lucky enough to have tried them, are regarded as the pinnacle of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay

Over 100 years ago, wines from the Saar region of the Mosel were more highly prized on international wine lists than those from Bordeaux or Burgundy. It was during this time, in 1830, that Peter Lauer's great-great-grandfather, Matthias, laid the foundation for some of the vineyards found in this "No. 8" bottling from the village of Ayl. For Riesling purists, Lauer represents a singular, unmistakable point of view that is unique to the Saar: a wine of intensity, depth, and persistent lift, balanced to perfection

Not only does Peter Veyder-Malberg farm an area of Austria so steep that grape growing families who have been there for centuries are sadly quitting on a yearly basis, but he goes beyond organic viticulture by constantly cultivating his working relationships with the myriad creatures who call his vineyards home. From mushrooms down to the microorganisms growing on the roots of the vines, his extreme care comes through his wines via layered minerality, electric citrus, and a unique savoriness that only Austria's finest Grüners can achieve

Girolamo Russo, "Nerina", Etna, 2023
$111.00
Etna is unlike many other wine producing regions in the world. Most notably the home of Europe's highest active volcano, Mt. Etna, one would not consider this to be an ideal place to grow grapes—dangerously steep, rocky soils, unpredictable weather, and the threat of volcanic eruption at any point. Very few are up for the challenge of making wine under such extreme circumstances. The work of these daring vintners combined with the region's indigenous white varietals result in wines like "Nerina:" energetic fruit and fresh minerality with an elegant structure— making Etna Bianco the next big thing for Burgundy lovers

This small, family-run winery located in California's Central Coast is quickly becoming renowned for their fresh, Old World-inspired wines, and this Sauvignon Blanc is no exception. In a full break with traditional American convention, no new oak is used for fermentation or aging; instead, they use neutral oak and even concrete. These vessels, along with the distinctly cool climate of Santa Barbara County, give this Sauvignon Blanc a fresh, vibrant, Sancerre-like feeling

With over 150 years of experience sourcing high quality grapes from top vineyard sites throughout the region, Maison Camille Giroud ranks among Burgundy's most well-regarded and dynamic boutique négociants. Founded in 1865, it was purchased in 2001 by Napa cult vintner Ann Colgin with the singular vision of continuing the venerated legacy of the Giroud family. Located high on a hill in the southernmost part of the Côte de Beaune, this Premier Cru site's old vines produce a wine that is simultaneously dense yet elegant with traditional vinification methods employed to showcase the quality of this terroir

The Esmonin family's roots run deep—back to when Burgundy had dukes instead of borders. Though Sylvie never expected to take the reins, fate (and her father's two daughters) had other plans. Her wines reflect her philosophy: perfection is overrated; character is everything. Expect a Gevrey-Chambertin with soul—ruby to carmine in color, brimming with red fruit, violets, and the whisper of forest floor. Power and grace, an expression of Gevrey-Chambertin shaped by Sylvie's unyielding character and touch

Featured Grand Cru Burgundy
Clos de Vougeot, Jean Grivot, 2021
$934.00
Grand Cru Burgundy may be the most profoundly titled wine of them all. Sacrificing none of the delicacies or nuances while also featuring depth and concentration, the classification is understandably hard to live up to. This unique site receives a more significant downdraft of air, which keeps the vines cooler and yields a wine of exceptional elegance and balance. These wines perform best when allowed to purely represent the vineyard with little to no bells or whistles

Featured Bordeaux
Clos Margalaine, Margaux, 2014
$168.00
Philippe Porcheron acquired this small garagista estate in 1998, located just outside the tiny village of Margaux. The Romans had referred to this place as "Marojallia," the name bestowed on the château. The "grand vin" debut in 1999 and made waves as on of the Medoc's first "Garage Wines:'' no bells and whistles, just good juice in a no-frills bottle. Renowned consultant Michel Rolland joined the team with the 2001 vintage and the estate continues to be one of the best boutique producers in Bordeaux. Located right down the street from first-growth Château Margaux and second-growth Rauzan-Ségla, "Clos Margalaine" is the second label of the estate, and this "little" producer packs a big punch with quality, elegance, and finesse

Hailing from the sandy, cool northern reaches of the appellation where few dared to plant, this charming cuvée from younger vines offers a fresh departure from the region's typical stony soils. Crafted by a remarkably kind and talented female winemaker, the wine balances delicate Provençal herbs with juicy red fruit that remains elegant rather than over-the-top

Featured Chianti Classico
Buondonno, Casavecchia alla Piazza, 2022
$84.00
Since 1988, agriculture professors Gabriele Buondonno and Valeria Sodano have organically farmed their high-elevation estate, a ruggedly beautiful property once owned by Michelangelo. The land's cool climate and north-facing vineyards produce Sangiovese with remarkable vibrancy, supported by a pastoral ecosystem of forests and grazing goats. Through long macerations and patient aging in neutral oak, their Chianti Classico achieves a masterful balance of rustic energy and elegant precision

Featured Barolo Riserva
Franco Molino, 2018
$111.00
Piedmont's mosaic of terroirs reveals itself in Franco Molino's Barolo Riserva, a blend of select crus from Barolo, La Morra, and Castiglione Falletto. Clay soils in Barolo and La Morra lend floral aromatics and supple fruit, while Castiglione's limestone and sandstone add structure and depth. Produced only in outstanding vintages and aged over five years before release, this Riserva captures the harmony and complexity that define great Barolo—where every bottle marks both time and place with quiet distinction

The Wines of Château d'Yquem
There is wine...and then there is Château d'Yquem. In anticipation of the World's Fair in Paris, it was the only estate named in the top level "Premier Cru Supérieur" by Napoleon III in the Graves Classification of 1855. It has demanded some of the highest prices in the wine world for well over 200 years. Thomas Jefferson supposedly ordered 250 bottles of the 1784 vintage for himself alone, and additional for his good friend George Washington. There isn't any "lesser vintage" wine from this estate; if it's not perfect, no Sauternes is produced that year. The 1811 "Comet Vintage" is still storied, having been rated "the ultimate '100 points'" by Robert Parker while tasting it in 1996. Widely considered the "definitive" dessert wine, these are wines that will surely outlive us all

Bob and Jan MacDonnell began their Napa Valley journey in 1978 on Pritchard Hill before moving to Rutherford in 1983 after wildfires. By the 1990s, fruit from their estate's "Round Pond" and "MacDonnell" blocks was sought after by producers such as Duckhorn and Vineyard 29. The family released its first commercial vintage in 2002, earning their own acclaim for organically farmed, valley-floor Napa fruit
