Ristorante Paradiso is an eclectic Italian restaurant just about a mile west of the Albany capitol buildings. Parking is never a problem. The menu is filled with delicious choices, but don't decide on your entree until you hear about the specials which change daily. Originally the famous Albany landmark, The Boulevard Cafeteria, Paradiso was used for the filming of the bar scenes in the film, "Ironweed", starring Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep, based on the book by Albany native, William Kennedy.
