If you are a breakfast lover, this is the place for you! Guests will find piping hot coffee waiting for them each morning beginning at 7 am. Buffet service begins at 8:30 and the menu varies daily.

We offer bountiful portions of egg casseroles, bacon, ham or sausage, buttermilk biscuits, hash browns or roasted potatoes, peppered country gravy, cheese grits, fresh baked items such as coffee cakes or muffins or banana bread, seasonal fresh fruit, fruit juices, homemade granola, yogurt, and homemade apple butter. In addition, we always serve something sweet such as caramel-pecan french toast, hummingbird pancakes, maple-walnut stuffed french toast, carrot cake pancakes or red velvet pancakes, all served with homemade vanilla cream and blackberry syrups.

Of course, breakfast is complimentary for our house guests.

If you are not staying with us, breakfast is $14 per person (plus tax and service). Breakfast reservations are required if you are not a houseguest.

The Appalachian room is at the top of the front formal staircase on the second floor.

This pretty room is beautifully furnished with a matching pair of queen beds dressed in soft magnolia and dogwood bedding and a triple dresser with large mirror. Stretch out and relax in the comfy wingback chair. The spacious, cheerful bedroom has an attached private bath with traditional tub/shower combination. Conveniently located for up to four guests, the pedestal sink is in the bedroom. Situated at the front corner of the house, its windows offer a view of both the Inn's gardens and the peaceful little town of Black Mountain. Three Mountaineers is consistently popular room at Red Rocker Inn's Black Mountain, NC bed and breakfast that has all the features travelers desire and is favored for its convenience to the front parlor. The Old North room, decorated with beautiful red floral and black gingham quilted bedding, is privately located in the northeast back corner of the second floor.

Named for North Carolina's colonial nick name, the room features a queen bed sitting across from a huge wingback chair great for reading. A mirrored red wardrobe reflects the morning light from the bank of windows dressed in black and beige toile. The spacious private bathroom will be your favorite place with its tiled whirlpool tub/shower combination. French Country accents lend the room an old world charm. This bright and cheerful bedroom has a white scrolled iron and brass queen bed dressed in a fluffy rose quilt.

Old Franciscan china plates and a collection of rose prints decorate the walls. Of all Black Mountain bed and breakfast inns, the Pinehurst room is a great second-floor choice for peace and quiet. The Azalea room, with it's central location on the second floor, is one of our most requested.

The intricately carved antique queen bed and fetching vanity with bench set the stage for old-time elegance. Also included is a comfortable love seat that folds out to a twin bed for a third guest in the room. Please add $25 per night for the third guest. Across from the love seat you'll find a decorative faux fireplace and large double windows. The bathroom features a tub/shower and additional chest of drawers. Primrose

Primrose room, with it's privately hidden location at the end of the hallway on the second floor, is the most intimate and romantic room in the Inn.

The focal point of the room is a seductively draped two-person whirlpool tub set adjacent to the queen bed. The private commode, pedestal sink, lace curtains, and large mirrored armoire add to the charm of this romantic setting. This is the perfect spot for getting reacquainted with your loved one. Pisgah

Evoking the rustic feel of a mountain cabin, the Pisgah room sits in a quiet corner of the second floor of the house.

This cozy room features a beautiful antique double bed, layered in masculine comfort with quilts and pillows. The Music room is the only king bed located on the first floor.

You'll think of old-world classical sophistication when you enter this room. This popular bedroom is decorated with music score wallpaper, classical music accents, and beautiful antique music art. One of the most popular rooms of any Black Mountain bed and breakfast, the Molly Bear room is both sweet and comfortable. A beautiful room with a queen sized-bed, the Preacher is reminiscent of a peaceful country church.

A Black Mountain B&B

Looking for a charming and relaxing b&b in Black Mountain, NC? Red Rocker Inn delivers the Savannah, located on the second floor just upstairs from the parlor, this guest room has one of the largest bedrooms in the Inn. It was originally the master bedroom when the Inn was a private residence. The canopied King-sized bed is opposite a large marble gas fireplace, with one of the house's original carved mantles still intact. Next to the hearth is a cozy lounge perfect for reading or gazing out the double windows. In view of both, the bed and fireplace, is an antique claw foot tub, also original to the house. Savannah's private bath includes a tiled step-in shower. A large triple dresser and armoire complete the furnishings. You'll delight in the Southern charm this comfortable room offers.
