The Red Parrot Sake List
Nothing quite pairs with Sushi or delicate noodle dishes quite like a nice bottle of sake. Warmed house sake is mild and drinkable, while our higher-end premium sakes are served cold to preserve flavor and texture. For special celebrations, very few things can compare to a bottle of Divine Droplets, floral notes across the spectrum and crisp as glacial melt water. Whatever the occasion, Red Parrot has a variation of this beloved Japanese rice wine to meet the demand.
Red Parrot House Sake
Traditional Gekkeikan sake. Typically served warm in ceramic carafes and drank out of tiny delicate ceramic cups. Great for a starter or for sharing with friends.
Zipang Sparkling Sake
Zipang Sparkling Sake is a unique and fun new sake from the House of Gekkeikan. Lightly carbonated, Zipang's sparkling style is produced naturally by secondary fermentation in a closed tank. Celebrate with Zipang Sparkling Sake!
"Dreamy Clouds" Rohaku Junmai Nigori
A partially unfiltered variation on sake. Sweet with a mildly creamy consistency due to a small amount of rice lees sediment, Dreamy Clouds has tangible notes of plums and roasted nuts. It is one of our long-standing employee favorites.
"Snow Maiden" Tozai Junmai Nigori
Our completely unfiltered variation on sake. Instantly aromatic, silky and creamy in consistency due to the cloudy rice lees sediment. Snow Maiden is fruity and dry. Can stand up to heavier or spicy dishes.
"Wandering Poet" Rihaku Junmai Nigori
One of our filtered, clear variations on sake. Wandering Poet is a great starter sake due to its drinkability. Very assertive flavors of ripe banana and sweet melon.
"Heaven's Door" Ama No To Junmai Ginjo
Another filtered, clear variation. Bursting with complex flavors such as green tea, mint & floral aromatics.
Moonstone Coconut Lemongrass Sake
Another partially unfiltered variation on sake. As the name suggests, clearly distinctive flavors of coconut and lemongrass abound in this tasty beverage. The texture and consistency are also surprisingly reminiscent of creamy coconut milk.
"Divine Droplets" Gingo Shuzuku Junmai Daiginjo
Filtered variation on sake. Our current king of sakes, this crisp, stunning and even dazzling take is handcrafted in small batches, created to specifications that only the top 2% of all sakes in the world can claim. As you might expect, the taste is nothing short of a masterpiece. Crisp and clean, with a chilling mouth feel even when drank at room temperature, this sake floods the senses with floral aspirations. Nothing will taste the same after taking a sip of Divine Droplets.

Clean Slate offers up basic apple and citrus flavors. Hints of crushed stone and spring flowers elevate it above the ordinary, as does the mouthwatering finish of this off-dry wine."
Boordy Riesling (Maryland)
Classic Riesling aromas of honeysuckle, citrus and apricots are followed by mouthwatering acidity that perfectly balances the sweetness. Suggested foods include sushi, Indian & Asian cuisine.
Willm Riesling (France)
From Alsace this is a light-bodied, floral Riesling, with crisp, tangy acidity and pretty flavors of peach, apricot, Fuji apple & anise. A well-balanced crowd-pleaser, with a lingering note of lemon zest.
Domaine Les Salices Viognier (France)
A classic example of Viognier, with rich floral aromas that should please the crowd. The nose lives up to its reputation, with roses, orange, fruit & flowers. The mouth feel does as well; impressively balanced.
Lurton Pinos Gris (Argentina)
A perfect summer wine, the kind that evokes memories of past picnics and laying in the sun. The nose is flooded with citrus notes of lemons & oranges, exactly what we crave in the heat. The mouth feel is almost prickly, similar to a Vino Verde wine.
Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio (Italy)
Bright floral nose with flavors of ripe stone fruit, honeysuckle & pear. Medium bodied with clean, refreshing acidity and a lingering, vibrant fruit finish. Pairs well with shrimp & other seafood.
Ecco Domani Delle Venezie Moscato (Italy)
The small-berried Moscato Bianco grape forms the base of this wine along with the sweet Moscato Giallo. Lovely aromas of peach, apricot & mandarin orange entice the nose, while the slightly sparkling off-dry palate has bright acidity to make this wine so refreshing.
Barefoot Moscato (USA)
Deliciously sweet and light with lush fruity aromas. Hints of citrus skip across flavors of juicy peach and ripe apricots. A bright, crisp finish dances in at the end. A bit sweeter than most Rieslings.
Starborough Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand)
This wine has layers of citrus and tropical fruit with hints of fresh green characters, which make the wine a true expression of the Marlborough region. Flavors of passion fruit, guava and kiwi layered over a citrus framework culminate in a crisp, approachable palate.
Smokestack Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand)

William Hill Chardonnay (California)

Jekel Chardonnay (California)
From Monterey County. Aromas in deep layers of ripe red apple, pineapple, banana, peaches & coconut, with toppings of light smoke & toasty notes from the new oak. Medium-full wine has crisp acidity, with a smooth, rich mouth feel and flavors of pear, apple, pineapple topped by hints of clove spice.

Alamos Red Blend (Argentina)
This Red Blend has juicy dark cherry flavors from the Bonarda grape, lively strawberry nuances from Tempranillo, which both marry well with the dark plum flavors of Malbec. Warm brown spice notes and a rich mouth feel make this a bold but very approachable wine.

Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon (California)
