Red Light is a 90-seat eatery serving regional American cuisine using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients in a funky, casual setting. From the Wall Street exec to the real estate mogul to the local yoga instructor, brings people together for the sole purpose of taking “the Miami” out of Miami, allowing them to relish in South Floridian delights next to the osprey and ibis (and the neon-lit gentleman’s club across the way…)
Opened in May of 2008, Red Light is now one of Miami’s most lauded restaurants recognized by the New York Times former restaurant critic, Frank Bruni, as well as Bon Apetit Magazine and other publications. Most recently, Chef Kris Wessel was nominated as a semi-finalist for a James Beard Foundation Award in the “Best Chefs of the South East” category.
